Yup! That happened this week

Elmo got hacked, turned racist and became a conspiracy theorist. Elmo’s unfortunate experience of being hacked, becoming racist, and developing conspiracy theories serves as a cautionary tale. It is crucial to avoid falling victim to similar situations and adopt strong authentication measures, such as using long and complex passwords, and enabling multi-factor authentication.Furthermore, it is essential to exercise vigilance regarding Internet of Things (IoT) devices. These devices encompass a wide range of appliances and gadgets, including smart televisions, smart plugs, smart bulbs, smart refrigerators, smart speakers, and any other devices that may be labeled as “smart.”
