Hexagon Center: Remind us to always be vigilant

It’s not just about misinformation or disinformation (or even mal-information), it’s also about parting with our money. Hexagon Center is designed so that we will stop being victims to these threat actors by feeding them our money and further advancing their work that way. We are not complicit but we and unwitting enablers when we fall victim to these scams. Together, we can be safe and more secure with our technology.

Nothing like a good story to remind us to be vigilant and stop to think before parting with our money to a suspicious person or even someone you “think” you know.

These stories from CISO Series will keep you on your toes.

🤷‍♀️ What now?: The undisputed best cybersecurity tool is YOU, yourself - use it. Always question anything that doesn’t seem right. Question especially when it sounds too good.

about this edition and Inside Hexagon

Happy 2025! We wish all our subscribers a healthy and safe new year. One good news to start this year off is that there isn’t too much news this week. We haven’t experienced this before.

HX Weekly has a new logo! We thought we’d emphasize the fact that it’s truly a weekly newsletter to remind all our readers and subscribers about being vigilant.

That seems like the theme for this week’s newsletter but it’s what we mainly do around here where it comes to cybersecurity. Be sure to read the stories of the year.

Hexagon Center is not only growing, it’s developing. This week, we received the approval from the United States Postal Service to use the Nonprofit Standard Mail prices. And we are excited!
