Are Google, Facebook and Amazon in your bingo card?

Well, if ANY one of these guys are in bingo card, the usual simple cybersecurity rule applies - make sure you have multi-factor authenticator turned on. Meanwhile, look out of the fun and interesting scams that they have concocted these days. Enjoy them but don’t buy into them.

for the week August 25th, 2024, 35th edition

☝️ TOP STORY

Take out your bingo card: Google (Gmail), Facebook and Amazon. Ya got them all? Make sure your two-factor authenticator is turned on.

That’s really all you need to worry about - the article calls it a “cybercrime triumvirate”: data theft (Google), malware distribution (Facebook) and credit card fraud (Amazon).

For obvious reasons, be extra cautious with your Google (Gmail) account.

Remember: If you have any questions about the bingo card or triumvirate, simply reply to this email or call/text our hotline.
